Ana Banana is a family-owned, children's apparel and gifts retail boutique with a brick-and-mortar location in Owens Cross Roads, AL. We are a tight-knit group of friends who enjoy working together and providing customers with the best possible service. We have both part-time and full-time jobs available. All positions must be able to work some Saturdays. We are open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM on Mondays, 10 AM to 5 PM Tuesday-Saturday and closed on Sundays. Sales Associate (Part-time or Full-time)
Responsibilities
- Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Assist customers by escorting them to racks and counters and answer questions about merchandise.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Operate cash register and handles cash payments and credit card processing
- Document sales by updating customer records.
- Alert management of potential security issues.
- Keep customers informed by notifying them of sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Help maintain floor appearance by keeping displays tidy and counters, floors and bathroom clean.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields preferred but not required
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted work environment
